Because Moto has all the inside hookups that get him hella sweet deals, so great they don't even exist.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Dealer in my area sells new VTX1300's for $6999 and the VTX1800 for $7999, aka Track N Trail Inc, State College, PA

My offer still stands moto, you could make a killing.

10grand American for every perfect condition VTX1800 you can get with less then 2 miles on the ODO. I'll even ship them to me myself.

Those things have a MSRP for 13,599.00 for an '06. I don't understand HOW you can get them for:
