headlight.
1. it projects light, which already gives you fastest speed constant
2. its always infront (unless you are backing up, or crashed)
3. if you'll take motorcycle apart, you can grab headlight by wires, and throw it. Sence it has confortable grab, pretty light, but has some weight in it, so it will be one of the fastest objects that can be throw but using your arm muscules.

Looks like im going to have to give you another hint. Its concidered a "PART" of a motorcycle, most dirt bikes don't have this part, but cars have this part too, no bike or car will run without this part, every motorcycle dealer has this part on stock.

Haha, I've always loved your comments. In any case, how are you enjoying your summer vacation? Looking forward to entering sixth grade in the Fall?
My guesses for this riddle:
That moto doesn't actually have an answer.
That moto forgot the answer.
