The mazda is American. But whatever the heck that means anymore is up for debate ...

Hey, American trucks blowout rears too. I had my Chevy grenade a carrier bearing, which in turn grenaded the carrier and gears...and axle...and housing...

long story short if your housing is pretty messed up, drop in a complete used axle (in good condition of course, go through seals and bearings!).

FYI the Mazda B series truck is a Ford Ranger.

but the parts are about 35 to 40% more expensive for some reason....

Tail lights for example on the 2001 were the same shape but different colour scheme (mazda had clear and yellow parts, ford was red and white)
I had to get 2 new ones (my wife doesnt like the telephone pole at the end of our driveway apperently...) the ford ones were 70 bucks and the mazda ones were 115.....

go figure....

and right on the engine...amufactured by Ford Motor company.....

hate them now, will NEVER own another Mazda...

but thats just me.

Dude you lost you're c-clips. To lose you're cross pin probobly means lost c-clips.

I'm curious to know wtf you did to cause this... This won't happen through normal use..

stuff wears out sometimes.... maybe billy bob on the assembly line went to lunch early..... or the metal ring pin thing was weak.... or DieMonkey does Baha racing and doesnt want to talk about it....

I wish I was able to go baha racing. No, this truck has 130,000 miles on it, it's been on cross-country journeys several times. It started out in Seattle then worked it's way over to Washington DC in less than a week. Then from DC to all over, New Jersey, New York, Michigan a few times. Then from DC down to SC and then back up and down a few times, then from SC to Annapolis a few times, then now all it's been doing is trips back and forth between Charleston and Newport News. It has had alot of wear in a relatively short period of time. Oh, and my parents bought it new.

This happens so rarely it woulden't happen through normal use. Honestly, a few long trips woulden't cause this. Nether would the high miles. You're 8.8 axel would have no issues even if you were beating it a bit hard.

Like I said, theres somthing you don't know that went on probobly. Such as people fawkin with you're ride, or some half assed mechanic doing work cheap?
