My friend needs your help

#1 Unread post by TeamONEinc »

My buddy is going to check out a 2002 Ninja 600(I think thats what he said). The bike has 30,000 miles on it. He is going to inspect it and I have to work. When I bought my bike it only had 7k on it. What type of wear should he check for on a bike with that sort of mileage? It was a commuter bike and most of his miles were put on the freeway. I told him to check the fluids, etc. as well as take a look at the chain. What else should I advise him to do? Thanks guys/gals.

While he is checking out the chain he should have a look at the rear sproket - make sure itdosn't look like a buzz saw disk.

If he can under the seat and tank for corrosion.

Pitting in the front forks.

Usual crash damamge once over.
