Hey,jmillheiser wrote:So where are you from?
I am in Houston, Texas unfortunately. I am thinking of relocating in the very near future however. Not out of Texas though. Just some town on the outskirts of Houston.
I also talked with my dad late last night. We are going to get the insurance today so I can get the bike out of his garage and over to my place.

I'm excited, over the moon, somewhat nervous, and a tad bit scared...lol. Again, I could go on forever. I will stop here however. Thanks again you all. I will let you all know about my first ride a.s.a.p.. Peace...
PS. Here is a picture of my bike. It's not the best quality picture but you can see her. My mom took it so please bare with me. The saddle bags are not attached. Those are the only accessories I have bought for her so far. Anyway, here she is: http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/8827 ... 8009ld.jpg

Well, I took her out today for her first ride.

I really can't say much more about it. It was everything I expected and more. The bike handled perfect and it was just a great time! That's about it. Thanks again you all for the replies and the comments/advice/help.
Peace out...

Congratulations and welcome to the TMW Forums .
Sometime take the windshield off and see how much lighter and easier to handle the front end is without it .
Just a suggestion . Of course , admittedly , I am against all the tupperware
It is definitely a nice looking bike which should keep you pleased for a long time .
Regards, Wizzard

Well, not much to report really. Spent a few hours in the parking lot practicing figure 8's with her. Maybe in another day or so, I will be ready for the maiden voyage. I'm starting to really trust the bike and I'm getting kind-of bored with the parking lot...lol. I'll be back to let you all know how it goes when I get back.
Thanks again you all for everything. Peace out...
