i just picked up that had been sitting for 5 years. it cost me 200 bucks. im haveing trouble figureing out what year it is...it was only made for 2 years...so if anyone has any experiance with these hit me up with a pm or reply here...i may keep this thing if i can get it running. anyways...thanks guys and dolls.

Looks like it was only made in 1982-83. Here is a good review.

Parts are a PIA, but good luck w/ it - There have been a few posts about visions if you search and dig em up...

Great bike, parts are sourceable but definately not the easiest to come by but the bike rides like a dream!

Carbs, you need to clean very well and maintain. Some guys on the site have never had to crack them open since they bought the bike, but I'm sure they ran them a bit and used stabil.

Yeah, only made here for 2 years and 83's very rare because the carb/airbox problems on the 82's gave them a bad rep, but there are fixes out there and all in all it's a very dependable bike.
