We make fun of fat people all the time, but it isn't funny to them. How about we start slamming all the south pacific peoples, or asians or south africans... Oh I forgot, people already do that but it's actually not acceptable is it??? How can it be any different for someone to be ridiculed because of their size?

to me it's bec im not sensitive to jokes. people joke about me im sure you know and im sure you know i don't take it seriously.

heck, i laugh at myself a lot.

basically, i think everyone should be able to laugh at themselves and stop taking things too seriously or just ignore it if you can't handle it.

Laughing at yourself and laughing at someone else are two totally different things...

Maybe Martin Luther King Jr should have just sat back and ignored the harassment he witnessed and was subjected to??? That's the same mentality. I've known people that commited suicide because of harassment, to them it wasn't funny and they didn't have the so called inner strength to ignore it.
