Nice bike! I had a similar situation with my 94 VFR. It sat for almost 3 years by the time I got my hands on it. Running like a champ now...

A teletubbies show :P

I'm at work so the picture doesn't show, but I can see your avatar. Nice looking bike, but isn't that riding gear a little...lacking in the sleeves and noggin area? :P

YAY!!

Congratulations on the new bike. I know you were working up to it.

Try to keep a riding position that has your hind-area further back (as long as you can reach your controls). This way... you're bending more at the hips and less in the back. You look awesome on your new ride!!

Cheers,
Loonette

Nice bike!

Db rows are a great exercise for gaining strength in the lats.

lower back extensions would work too...no equipment needed either...

just lay flat stomach down, hands out straight in front of you over your head(face down), and legs straight behind you(together or apart depends on balance) Then, as the excercise try to lift your shoulders and your thighs off the floor. You'll feel your lower back contract if you do it right. Do them similarly to crunches.

Thanks Loonette
Now I was wondering about that. There's a good few inches for sure to move my rear back in the seat - as I am at the moment, I sit right against the tank...
