Can someone help me identify a motorcycle?

Hi guys. I have a unique request... I need some help identifying a motorcycle in a giant painting I have. I'm not sure if it's a Harley, Indian, Honda, etc. I'm assuming it was painted from a photograph because of the amount of detail. However, the writing on the gas tank was replaced with "Freedom USA", so it's difficult for me to determine what the original motorcycle was.

It was given as a gift to my Harley-obsessed father, who has since passed away. I'm now looking to sell it, but I'd like to know what type of bike it is first so I don't mislead anyone.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Adam

Definately a Harley-Davidson. I'd guess a FXST Softail Standard model or a Harley-Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide, but I'm not 100% on that, but that would be my answer.

For the year?? Umm, early 90's model? But it looks like the bike is customized, with the air filter replaced, ape bars, passenger back rest and aftermarket seat.

Anyone else take a guess at it? Or at least let me know if I'm in the ball park. haha.

Mike.

Definitely a Harley yes... check out this picture of a Dyna Wide Glide and see the similarities:

It's not a Softail. It has the shocks exposed on the outside.

It looks like a Harley Dyna-Wide Glide to me. As for the year, though, I'm not sure.

Thanks very much for the replies everyone. So far very helpful.

I've been looking at pictures of all the suggested models and so far it looks like it might be the Dyna-Wide Glide like t_bonee mentioned.

I compared to this photo and it has a lot of similarities:

Especially towards the rear side of the bike.

its either a super glide with a wide glide fender or a wide glide with a super glide front end.....but yes to harley, and they are pretty much the same bike anyway.
Dyin'? Boy, he can have this little life any time he wants to. Do ya hear that? Are ya hearin' it? Come on. You're welcome to it, ol' timer. Let me know you're up there. Come on. Love me, hate me, kill me, anything. Just let me know it.

yup...a DYNA...with a narrow front end...so it would not be a wide glide...looking at the motor details...I would say it is a Twin Cam model......

The Wide glides have had the twin cam's since 2000. For me, it is hard to tell how narrow the front end is in that painting. But looking at where the turn signals on the front are and the saddlebag mounts on the back, it could be a Dyna Convertible, but the Convertibles don't have the chopped fender on the rear like the Wide glides do.

So, either a Wide glide that has had the signals lower for mounting a windshield like on the Convertibles and added saddlebags, or a Convertible that has had the Wide glide fender added on the back. But not many Convertible models have the ape hangers like the all the Wide glides. Both models do have the forward controls like that though.
