I'm not accusing you of trash-talking, and there's really no need to get too worked up about this. I just know enough about this forum and its members to know that an anti-MSF thread wouldn't get very far, so I was just curious what prompted your "reply" to this alleged mindset.

In closing, I will say the MSF is good for someone who has not been on a bike yet. Its money well spent if you are not sure if you want to be on a bike or not.
If that's one of the threads in question, you can see it wasn't long before someone came in to disagree, and the thread lasted a whopping four posts. The guy came across as very cocky, but even explained that (like me) he prefers to learn on his own. Near the end you can see he went on to say that the MSF would be good for a complete newbie.

Come to think of it, I retract my apology. I think I explained the "shut up" comment rather well in the original post. The next time I submit a thread, I'll make sure I'm properly "provoked." If the truth is considered "trash talk" here. Well, get used to it.
Please let me clarify... speaking the "truth" as you say (actually it's your opinion about the benefits of the MSF course) was not what I was referring to as talking trash. It was the whole, "SHUT UP" statement. It's not okay to tell folks with a minority opinion that they should "SHUT UP". So you get used to it! Stating your opinion is great, and questioning why someone would attempt to discredit the MSF course is fine too, but telling folks here to "SHUT UP" is not okay.

So keep the apology that you retracted - doesn't hurt my feelings. But it's my job to maintain some sort of peaceful atmosphere around here.
