Any Good websites to Buy Gear?

#1 Unread post by rugaluga »

Looking to get some gear (helmet, jacket and gloves) and was wondering if any one can recommend some good websites with good customer service and pricing. Also if theres any brands you guys recommend over another (esp. for helmets) that would really help.
Thanks in advance

+1 for newenough.com
Also check out ridegear.com

And I agree with the other guy, you're going to want to try on the helmet before you buy it.

I found that a great way to get great gear cheap was to find what you want, try it on for size, fit, feel, etc and then buy it on ebay. I have bought a new half helmet (black with smooth black flames for $25, retailing for $80+), a new HJC full helmet (black with tribal flame markings in grey and red to matc the bike for $67), a new mirrored visor for $30 and new Chippewa waterproof boots for $40. There are also great deals on jackets, pants and gloves. Sometimes the shipping is more than the item. The best thing to do is search different names and combinations of what you want or serial numbers, etc. You can even find decent used gear as well.
