I have bought a new half helmet (black with smooth black flames for $25, retailing for $80+), a new HJC full helmet (black with tribal flame markings in grey and red to matc the bike for $67), a new mirrored visor for $30 and new Chippewa waterproof boots for $40. There are also great deals on jackets, pants and gloves. Sometimes the shipping is more than the item. The best thing to do is search different names and combinations of what you want or serial numbers, etc. You can even find decent used gear as well.
ok sorry to hijack but whats the point in even getting a helmet if your only going to get a half helmet? I mean its the same as not wearing a helmet at all.

www.morepoweracing.com has the cheapest prices on brand names that I have found and by a WIDE margin. ex. AGV pants going for $179 everywhere are only $159 here.

*** Make sure it's what you want and that it fits first!! 20% restock on returned items!!****

after reading the posts here, I saw that no one spoke about http://www.metricbikes-superstore.com/ They have the best prices af all the other links. I have just finished researching for a new track ready leather jacket and boots. This site saved me about $30.00 on average with no restocking fee.

Actually, its not. It offers more protection than not wearing a helmet, but less than 3/4 or full. Each person has their own tolerance level for risk.

I'm sure you would defend the following comment equally, "Why are you wearing protective gear, riding a motorcycle means you're going to die anyway"

Metricbikes Superstore

Just put an order in with http://www.metricbikes-superstore.com/

Very easy to order but watch the shipping charges. They hit you with a $5-$7 charge on EACH item.

Still came out saving a bundle from the other sites and especially the stealer parts dept.

i.e. Cortech Sport Tail Bag metric $53.06 - Stealer $89.00

Ditto on newenough and motorcyclecloseouts.

Lots of good stuff on ebay. Stuff that people have worn once or twice and then put away - only to sell on ebay when cleaning out the closet.

Also keep an eye out on your local Craigs List.

On metric bikes you save $$$ but don't be in a hurry to get your stuff. I ordered my stuff last Wed and they still haven't shipped it yet and it's in stock!!

Don't know why it takes them so long...everything else I've bought over the net ships next day???????
