Official 2007 Yamaha V-Max motorcycle early concept launched
I have said it before...ALL they need to do with the V-Max is have a perimeter frame and inverted forks. DONE...THE END.
I'm just pissed because my Max has been torn down for four years now. It's like the shoemaker...I work on bikes all day long...can't muster the energy to do it in my free time. That is why I joined this forum, to get inspired again for motorcycles! Thanks guys!
Actually, I did take my crank to work the other week. Now just need to take it to the machine shop to get the journals polished. Ahhh, procrastination!

I like it, just needs inverted forks. I like the touch of the black fork tubes, I hope that makes it to production. I also like how they kept some distinctive touches from the original. I hope that its look doesn't wimp out too much when it comes to market, it frankly makes all the "power" cruisers look decidedly wimpy, but still keeps a lot of cruiser styling touches.
I do like the headlight, kinda like a modern interpretation of a bullneck light.

Maybe they got it from somewhere those wacky Japanese: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v600/ ... imania.png
They should produce the bike found in the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. For those that didn't see it, the bike basically is hard to low/ high side and rebalances itself and makes impressive trick turns and slides.
Too bad theres a agreement on restricting power and speed... this thing could have been wicked if they managed 200+ (for track and autobahn purposes of course)

One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

...nope, don't like the new look.
....the thing that looks weak on all V-max model is the forks, it's like Arnold Schwazenneger's body with a Pee-Wee Herman neck.
....the bike looks beefy, but then the forks looks so weak that it spoils the whole aesthetic of the visual effect.
...the rear fender is hideous, cover it with your thumb and view the bike...now imagine that the fender curves downward and closer to the tire...much better that way.

I'm not usually into cruisers but that bike looks pretty sweet. Although it looks like there's no padding on the seat?
Now Yamaha just has to take the other concept they revealed about the same time - the MT-OS - into production. Anybody from Yamaha listening? It looks really cool and wouldn't be that hard to produce since it's based on the MT-01 . . . pretty please?
But I digress . . .
