yeah, my knees should be in... my draggin jeans has kevlar on the knees but i really don't wanna drag w/ it.
plus, there's a no knee dragging policy on skillzday... hawkster will kick me out if i drag knee.
BTW... i have the twist of the wrist DVD. i'd rather watch it since i heard keith's writing style isn't very engaging. plus, it's a video. way better than any words can describe.
i went riding to ortega hwy w/ fellow TMW member VP... it was a nice twisty road w/ several sweeping turns. it was fun but we got caught a lot by cagers and it's hard to find a passing opportunity.
here's some pics...
meeting place
lookout pics...
view from the lookout. that is lake elsinore...
thanks VP for showing me around ortega.
oh and BTW... i've seen 3 other riders w/ the same helmet as mine. (VP being one of them).

As for the same helmet thing...hey now...we have one of the best helmets out there...don't you want to stay with the cool group?
If you do deside to get a new helmet...make sure it's SNELL approved...don't spare any expense on gear.
yeah, that AGV is DOT SNELL.
and your bike is a good beginner bike. im sure you can't go wrong w/ it. im just not as practical as you are.
Back to the helmet thing...I learned from my MSF instructor (who also has the same helmet but in blue) that we can block out the wind noise by putting what they call a curtain in the front (under the chin part of the helmet). This way you don't need to wear ear plugs.
One day, I look forward to owning a pretty bike like yours.

my previous shoei RF1000 helmet had that curtain. i can't compare it since it's been while since i last had it.
and cool! i hope after ½ or 1 year, you get the chance to buy the bike you really want.
Ok, this is scarey...I was going to get a Shoei RF1000, but they didn't have the color I wanted so I got the Scorpion. The curtain only costs about $6...worth not wearing ear plugs.
Yeah, I hope I can get the bike I want soon...I'm thinking about the Interceptor...do you know anyone who has one? Any comments on it? I still have to sit on one to make sure it fits me well.
