Could have saved $20

#1 Unread post by MX »

When I bought my bike, I asked the original owner if he had the owner's manual. He said he never got one. So I ordered one from helminc.com.
Reading the manual, I found out where to remove a cover where the owner's manual and toolkit can be stored. And there is the manual and toolkit! Original owner never knew it was there! So if you're buying a used bike, look for the pop off panels below the seat, or maybe even under the seat to see if it comes with manual and toolkit. Might save you a few bucks. Too bad I had to buy the manual to find the manual.

Anyone need an owner's manual for a 1998 Honda VF750C2 Magna?

Actually, it's kind of nice to have a copy in the house to refer to. The one on the bike is not easy to get to, but it's nice knowing it's there if I need it on the road.
