Well, it's running about $2.68 here in WA, and we now plan our trips more carefully, and I drive my Chebby gas-hog pickup less than before, and it works. Our fuel bill is lower now than 2 or 3 months ago.
It's still a biotch, tho. Pretty soon gas will be the same price as bourbon.

I remember hearing that in the states, that if you converted the dollars and the unit of measurement, they were paying a lot less then here in Canada, although it could be alot worse, seeing the prices they pay In europe. Oh well, still gotta drive dont we? Wheres my hover bike?

$2.23 Usd here in West Virginia. Put $50.00 in my GMC Safari van Saturday and that still didn't quite fill it up! That is cheap compared to some places but still hard to do here when you make $9.00 per hour. That is 4 1/2 hours work to fill the tank on my car. The recent raises in fuel prices have also put groceries up in price probably 30% here.
Thank goodness for motorcycles, I'll be riding mine more!

I like the old Safari. It's a 95 with 122,000 miles on it. All wheel drive, necessary here in winter. Haven't had any major problems, put an alternator on it and 1 front wheel bearing. It's been maintained well and is pretty much like a new vehicle, I'd take it anywhere. Now if it would just do a little better than 17 or 18 MPG I'd like it even better.
