i'd like to install a lightbar on my spouses's V Star. In case the instructions that hopefully come with it don't make sense can anyone provide tips or their own version of installation instructions? i often find product instructions lacking.
Most interested in electrical connection andmaybe a good web site where someone has done this.

when I did mine I used a little device called a "tap-in" to connect my light bar in parallel (red wire to red wire, black to black) with my brake light. That way you don't have to worry about taping, splicing, or soldering any connections. You can usually find them at any automotive store, but make sure they have some kind of gel in them to keep the air from the wire. If they don't, vaseline works great.
