Hi Guys!!!!
Thanks for all the inputs..Really appreciate it... Well still havent been able to close the deal on the 1000RR. Hoping to do so next week. Will post pics as soon as i do.
Yup I do believe no matter how many miles you put under ur belt it never seems enough and u gotta respect the bike, and the road....
Some answers to the questions posted. Yup plan to take it out onto the track. Its called the dubai autodrome...Thats where the A1 races takes place.
As for the 350cc bike dont know it you guys have heard of it...But its called a Yamaha RD 350. Tried putting up a pic but couldnt. Will try again.
Thanks again guys...

:( No 1000rr
Hi Guys,
Lost the 1000rr i was aiming for. Some chap came along and paid 50% more.
Now I am in a dilema. 1000rr are too few too far between.
I need your advise on choosing a different bike. The bikes that come up here are the gixxer and yam's and sometimes the honda's.
So help guys!!!!! Pro's and con's...Will be doing both street and track...So please keep that in mind...
cheers

Maybe it's my "low" I.Q., but this confuses me... If the average I.Q. is 100, then what you're saying is anything with more than 100 cc's will require you to "hold on tight"? Okie dokie...thebighop wrote:A particular word of caution would sound like this..'when the cc of the engine, exceeds your I.Q....Hold on real tight'...
Okay, back to the question. It would seem that with six years of riding experience, a jump to a 1000RR should be fine, so long as you take your time getting to know the bike. Practice with the throttle and brakes, get used to how the bike leans - just take your time, really. It should be fine.
Cheers,
Loonette

Dyin'? Boy, he can have this little life any time he wants to. Do ya hear that? Are ya hearin' it? Come on. You're welcome to it, ol' timer. Let me know you're up there. Come on. Love me, hate me, kill me, anything. Just let me know it.
