Shoulda broke his mirrors, let the air outta his tires and pour some paint thinner on his BMW. Rich puck should've been beaten with a crow bar as well. The sad thing is that there is no real justice when it comes to cyclists right or wrong.

I'm a little confused here. Was your bike parked in a regular parking spot ?
And the guy just felt like getting a spot up close and moved your bike ?

I have no problem with you kicking in his door. Only thing is with all the surveillance going on I wouldn't want to do that for fear of being caught on tape.

Prolly the only weird thing that happened to me when my bike was parked. One time I came out and another bike was parked in the same space. Didn't interfere with me at all tho, so I didn't care.

It's actually pretty common to have bikes parked together but many cagers get mad for some reason.

I remember fitting 3 bikes and a scooter in a mall parking lot spot. The guy with the scooter had to make do with being the rear guard.

Drivers get mad if they see 2 bikes in one parking space? Why? Thats one more space for them!

I remember one time when I was getting out a woman in a volvo asked if all of us were leaving. I said I'm leaving on my own and then she had such a look... sorta because the lot was full in the popular area and there were still bikes parked in my spot.

Not all parking lots are under surveillance fyi, just go to some walmarts. I don't think you should've dented his door for moving the bike as no damage was done to it, although I would be angry at the guy. I would have gone up to him and confront him about it, and if he was a jerk, I'd hurt his car. To bad you weren't able to get to him fast enough, and the guy probably has good insurance if he has a beemer anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Meh. Most of the time those types of people, who look for someong leaving and 'wait' are still waiting to park by the time I've driven to the back of the lot, gotten out, secured my vehicle, and walked into the store.

My God, that is simply the truth; I have been an advocate of that all my life. When I go to a store I'll park in the first spot I see. It's usually one of the furthest spots away from cars on both sides by at least one spot. And what do you know, I haven't gotten any door dents because of it!

I hate being in the passenger seat going to a store because everybody I know will go 'round and 'round the lot looking for the absolute closest spot. Meanwhile I could have been there twice as fast and gotten in a bit more exercise. I just wanna say "let me out here while you waste time and gas."

Anything to save a few feet of walking. The level of laziness out there amazes me.
