Just Dropped my Street-Rod!

Bloody Hell!! I just spent a few hours working & playing around on my Street-Rod then I decided to put her away & instead of going the usual way to the garage I went the opposite way & when I went to stop the front wheel locked up on a bit of carpet & spat me off!

It happened soooo fast....BUGGA!!

The front end of the bike is fine cause it fell on the carpet but the rear of the bike fell on concrete & my brand new mufflers are now scratched, I'm gutted!!

As a bonus, I had to pick it up by myself & rooted my back up nicely. These bikes weigh a ton.

Now I'm depressed.... :(

Oh, man, I feel your pain! I did that once when I had my '01 Triumph Tiger under very similar circumstances... the neighbourhood was treated to a recital of all my fave Army swear words and phrases.

No, Dude! Say it ain't so!

The only thing worse than dumping one of your bikes, is dumping the new bike. That truely sucks. And wrenching your back just adds injury to insult.... Time to get 'drunk' and hope things look better in the morning.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

I'm so sorry to hear that Al

Hope you can get her all fixed and looking shiny again, at a reasonable price...

Still at least the bike is in good working order, and you can go for a ride to cheer yourself up a little

Ugh...

I pray to never feel your pain. Sounds like a few shots of hard liquor is due.

Thanks everyone....

Yeah it's only MINOR cosmetic damage, just a few scratches on the mufflers, but it does not look good in my line of business  It would have been better if they were OK & the leavers & mirrors were scratched, oh well.

Sooooooo......I'll have to fix those pesky scratches eventually. Doh!

Perhaps I'll experiment with black powdercoat?
