im now officially an american citizen. i was not illegal, i was just a resident alien before, mind you.

we did our oath taking ceremony yesterday.

so hello fellow americans! :D

what advantages should i expect from becoming a citizen?

it was freaking expensive though... i spent almost $500 for everything. plus, i need around $80 more for a US passport.

congratulations. now, as a citizen, you can help us get rid of the seventy billion illegals that are leeching off the system and raising tax rates for the rest of us.

Congratulations, Komrade! What can you expect? Um, I think you already found out -- everything costs either $500, or $80 more than you have.
