rear tire sliding?

Well, if you have cold tires they will slip out pretty easy. And you say that you were not hard on the throttle when it slipped out on you? I have never really heard of that, I have noticed that when the psi in my tires get too low it feels like it is trying to slip out on me. What time of day does this happen? Because I know it is harder to get the tires warmed up at night.

this latest one happened earlier this morning, cloudy day. left early to beat the heat.

i already got enough miles before the canyons to warm up the tires.

Maybe your throttle control isn't as awesome as you think it is?

Your TRE allowing too much power to the tire in the lower gears? (related to the above)

Lower gear ratio due to the fact that a bike tire is smaller around on the outside than it is around the center? (see above again)

Tire pressure again?

Tire pressure again? yeah maybe, i should lower the psi. it's better since the freeway ride isn't that long anyway. 30,35 should be fine instead of 36-41

Road krap doesn't have to be gravel. Sand, dust, spilled fuel or oil or coolant, dog guts.... lots of candidates.

Cranked over in a lean, over-throttleing will not always manifest itself as forward/backward, it can easily show up as sliding sideways......

yeah i know, didn't any of those cr@p either.

im 100% sure i didn't over throttle it. i would have noticed it especially w/ the TRE on, the throttle response is high. you will notice it even w/ just a slight move on your hand.
