i didn't go through any of that. maybe it's different from state to state.

i insured my car and bike and listed all of my family members as insured drivers. there was no mention that they can't use my car more than me.
They probably just assumed someone was the primary operator. Most likely the owner of the vehicle, or whoever the loan is to (if applicable). I've never heard of equal-share operators, only primary and "other" operators.

Ask your agent.

When you were under 25 did you bend over and take it, or did you cheat your way through?

Better yet did you even carry insurance?
I got my own policy when i bought my first car. Up until then i was on the parents policies. Dad was a co-signer so i could have done it through him though.

What can I say. Ride an older cruiser. $112 a year for liability!

Goes pretty fast too. :)

hehe, right now I pay 1000$/year on my bike and my dad pays 200$ a year on his, cool thing though is we are on the same policy so I'm insured on his bike and vice versa, but then I really have no choice what do do cause I financed it, I'm just glad that I can afford to pay insurance on it, although it will take me abit longer to pay my bike off.
