My new bike....

After dreaming of getting a bike for the better part of the last 36 years (my current age), I finally pulled the trigger and bought a used 1992 Kawasaki KLR 250. It is street legal (well, except for the busted tail light I have to fix). I basically want to bang around neighborhoods and farm roads and the like. I live near some very rural towns with long back roads. I am really not interested in highway and city driving so I figured this would be perfect. I have been riding a total of 2 weeks now, but I feel more confident with every ride. I actually just got back from some dirt trails behind my house. That was a blast. Looking forward, I may get a second bike. Mayke a dual sport Suzuki. I picked up this one for $800 and it rides great. I would like to have a second for when friends come over or maybe even get my girlfriend to ride.

One of these days I'm going to have to get a dirtbike just so I can act all suicidal and crazy and go jump dirt mounds and stuff.
