See, I know I shouldn't make a skinny joke for obvious reasons, so I'm not going too. But I expect someone to rise to the challenge, and spike this one.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

So only pre-teens for you Verm? :P

My gf has been riding for a while with me, but even now she still sometime does stuff like decide she needs to change her seating position just as I'm coming to a stop. I just remind her once in a while, and it's all good.

However, don't be too quick blaming things on your passenger. I find the bike handles a lot differently with a passenger even when they are not leaning away from turns, etc. It just balances a little differently, and you have to take that into account. Try to focus on keeping the bike completely upright when coming to a stop, and put both feet down when you're at a standstill in case they decided to move around. You don't notice how much you lean the bike at a standstill until you have an extra 140lbs perched on top of it.

ill go the other way...

if youre a full grown male and taking on female passengers that weigh more than you, youve got bigger problems than your bikes handling :P

I just took my first passenger on this bike. My ex-girlfriend, interestingly the only passenger I ever took on my old bike, so she knew something before hand about riding.

Was a blast, and we had a great time, apart from the occasional bad wieght shifting she did quite well, apart from one heart stopping moment, when due to a bad weight shift I found the bike heading for a curb. Luckily shes quite small, so not to much worry there.

I do have to say. I have the same rule that Verm does. No girls over 135. I dont want the bike riding on one wheel the whole time.

LoL, if I only took someone who weighed less then me... I'd never have someone on the back. Not that that's a bad thing, I prefer solo riding. Hah.
