When I don't have external meetings I can get away with "workplace casual" -- Dockers slacks and Lands End oxford shirts. The slacks survive the trip pretty good if I press them, and the bike jacket doesn't seem to mess up the shirts. I keep a spare pair of shoes in my desk to change into from the boots.

Oh my, you boys have it so easy! You just don't know!

I usually put my dressy sandals/shoes in the saddle bags, wear my leather (or mesh) jacket over my top. Sometimes I'll wear my dress pants (they look awesome with my boots! ) but sometimes I'll wear jeans and change when I get to work.

Of course, when I want to wear a skirt, I gotta change once I get to work!

Now, if I could only figure out how to stop my hair from kinking funny under my helmet, I'd be set!

It's business casual were I work. I just wear my work cloths. My jacket doesn't mess up the golf style shirts and I don't wear any riding pants. My regular dockers style pants stay wrinkle free in the wind. I wear regular old steel toed work boots when I ride and just keep them on all day. How often does anyone really look at shoes? But the fact I don't attend many meetings and never, ever deal with customers, it is a bit easy for me to get away with the boots on all day.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

Hey consider yourself lucky...I wish I could wear sandals, shorts, and sleeveless shirts to work and they'd still call it "dress clothes". In the hot summer professional ladies have a sweet deal. Us guys are stuck with pants, close-toed dress shoes, and long-sleeve buttondowns.

CNF... Sorry about the unfair dress code! The guys around here (law firm) are sometimes dressed more casually than the ladies!

Who's wearing shorts to work? I want to work there!

Don't be so sure  I work in a large data center in the desert where shorts are allowed. 95% of the people there should not wear them

Desk jockey...so... bring the jacket, skirt and/or dress and shoes (in a backpack) and change at work. Sometimes, I can get away with wearing the shirt/blouse under my jacket if it isn't one of those burning hot days. I found my clothing doesn't wrinkle too badly if I roll it versus folding it. And I leave 2 pairs of shoes at work cause m-c boots look terrible with dresses & skirts (didn't leave my office that day!). The helmet hair is well hidden pulled back in a pony-tail.
