Commuters who dress-up for work?

Don't be so sure I work in a large data center in the desert where shorts are allowed. 95% of the people there should not wear them

I must agree with ya there! There are lots of people around here who shouldn't be wearing sleeveless either!

I know how those advertising firm people dress... they all work on the floor below us. I always enjoy my long walk (over the canal on the enclosed walkway) to the office in the morning.... I get the biggest kick out of seeing what these people wear in public! I'm truly shocked most days!

sounds to be better than jeans right? but not as good as those draggin jeans?
am assuming they will provide probably another second of protection if you hit the pavement?

+1 for business casual.

I don't do anything special, just throw the leather jacket over my shirt and go. I wear regular closed-toe shoes or hiking boots. Then again, I'm a computer nerd, and I work in a basement fixing computers. If a computer nerd gets rumpled it's kinda expected...

We are business casual when we achieve our goals, dress up if we do not (I wear suits with pants on dress up - can't wear a skirt, can't show tattoos on leg). Casual every friday (jeans).

On casual day, and jeans friday gear goes over shirt and twill-like pants - including eitehr chaps or leather pants. I don't need big old bug goo on my clothes all day.

On dress up day - well, it's not often, and I don;t think I've ridden in on dress up day (we almost always hit goal!).

Oh, yea - my hair is always a zoo, so it doesn't matter.

It's been hard to ride in since we moved down here to Schenectady. First, the indoor garage will not allow MC. Now, I got a spot in the open lot, but they have torn up the street all summer, gravel, sand, trucks, this entrance closed, the other entrance closed.....

When I was in the Navy, we couldn't be seen off base in our working uniform. It's the dumbest thing ever! So, I would change once I got to work. It's easy since the ship had living quarters.

When I would have to wear my whites and wanted to ride I would wear chaps (oil on the pants legs is not good) and a jacket.

You can get some wrinkle free clothing and go that route.

Now, I work for myself and ride whenever I feel like. If I need to wear a tie that day, chance are I have to carry so much stuff I can't ride anyway.
