Honda CBR

#1 Unread post by what1sth1s »

Hi i'm almost 16 and i have decided on riding motorcycles as a first ride because of cheap price and fuel economy.

im thinking of buying a used CBR(2000+) which averages around 6k. here are my questions.

I can't imagine leaning completely forward for about an hour of riding. Is it comfortable?

lol
And what size CBR were you planning on?

First off, I suggest you go read the stickies up on top. A new rider should really start with something smaller if they want to get a sportbike, a 250 or 500.

Second, welcome to the forum

A CBR less than 600cc (IIRC?) you will not find in the States.

And what do you define as "comfortable" :o

If you are in decent shape then you shouldn't have a problem.

Why are you looking at a 600 SS for a first bike. Read the stickies above to get an idea of what you should get.
