Yeah... I live in Florida. Tons of flip-flop squids around here.
My roommate went around the block in his flip-flops in my presence, I about beat him to death with a wooden kendo stick.

Yup that's pretty crazy huh?
The worst I've ever done was this weekend. I needed gas and I didn't feel like filling up before work this morning. So yesterday, I rode less than a mile to the gas station from my house in shorts, t-shirt, helmet and tennis shoes. No gloves, no jacket, no riding boots.
I have to say it was a very different experience to the normal safety gear I wear and I didn't like it one bit. I'll wear my gear next time...
yes I know most accidents happen close to home so something bad could have happened. I took my life in my own hands, just like you all do...

That's like saying most shower accidents occur in the bathroom. The one thing that EVERY motorcycle ride you take has in common with each other is that they all start and end at home, so it's a simple matter of statistics that most accidents occur close to it.sharpmagna wrote:yes I know most accidents happen close to home so something bad could have happened.

I think I have you all beat.
followed a guy on a sportbike into town on my way home the other day.
Fullface helmet
t-shirt
shorts.
that's it. No gloves, no jacket, no shoes at all. this freak was in barefeet. I was almost hoping that there was gravel at the four way stop, maybe with a bit of broken glass thrown in for good measure.

Yeah, well the other day I saw a very pregnant woman lighting up a cigarette. I mean really, people, there are more important things to get concerned and worked-up about. This dodo continues to come across as either jealousy or elitist thinking.Gadjet wrote:I think I have you all beat.
