you should go!
some of the female riders i rode w/ are going.
too bad... i don't think there will be male equilavalent to this type of event.
i mean there's no shortage of guys wanting to go the tracks around here.
Well, its like going to the gym to workout. Girls, particularly the shy or newbs don't want to be so self concious or bombarded by testosterone while they're trying to learn a new thing, especially when it is a male dominated activity. This this takes 'the threat' away.
femmoto makes it easier for ladies to be comfortable around motorcycles, ride them and ask any seemingly 'dumb' questions without feeling ostracized or looked down on by men. So, you get the ladies started, get the comfortable in the motorcycle environment, teach them a bit, build their confidence and more than likely there is one more person who's decided to make bikes a hobby.
I'm not saying all men are not helpful, but when you make it a "girls thing", it levels the playing field for ladies, especially the new ones. The experienced ladies make a good example for the newbs.
