Any ideas on what brand has a nice deep rumble but not too loud?

inline 4's by nature tend to not have a "deep rumble" to them at all. I don't have a specific recommendation for your bike either. M4 does tend to have a throaty tone to their mufflers.

I was at the drags the other night sitting behind an '06 R1 with a set of Akrapovic cans on it and it was the deepest, rumbliest sound I have heard out of a modern I4.
