It all depends on what you want. If someone is willing to pay you what you want for it, by all means, let it go if you want to. Sometimes those "projects" we save for ourselves just sit there until they are in worse off condition.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of, I live in an apartment now, and leave for flight school in a month to live in another apartment. So question is how (money) and where (no garage) to work on it. But I love to work on cars/bikes so if possible, would be fun to keep around for work, as long as it's not put off too long, to where it's totaled.

If you can work out the "where do I store it" factor I'd keep the CX500. My last bike was a CX500 and I have both good and bad memories of it. For touring it was great; comfortable, reliable, and with enough power for me. Those are the good memories. My most lasting memory however is the poor handling on any kind of twisty roads. I used to go on Sunday rides with friends from work who had bikes about the same size or slightly smaller. No sport bikes in the group. I could never keep up on the twisties. The bike was so top heavy and the torque of the shaft drive so noticable that I had no confidence in leaning it. Hence, I always arrived a few minutes after the others. It was a different story on straight road; no problems at all.

Buy a Clymer's/Haynes manual and with electrical schematics and run down that electrical gremlin. You won't get much for your bike, but you'll get even less if the indicators don't work. It's probably something simple.

I got the parts in today, and going to get it fixed up. I did call a couple places about selling and you guys were right, I would get about 500 bucks for it. I'm just going to keep it as an extra and try to save up some money for a while. While saving have a good time on the Honda.

The only complaint I do have about the 500 is how top heavy it is. That and the shakiness on the highway. But the few times I did get to ride it, is was fun, and I'm sure it will be. What bike are you riding now?

I will deffinatly get the manual and look up fixing the signals. A bike with no signals is not of much use to anyone, and pretty unsafe for myself. Thanks for the tip.
