This sucks. I got my bike on the road last week and its been running strong until today. Started bike up, and left it in the driveway to warm up while I went inside and suited up. When I came back outside, the bike was off. I go to start it again and it turns over, idles very roughly for a few seconds then dies. This process continues for several minutes until I realize the bike is only running on one of the two cylinders.
The bike ran fine all weekend and I rode about 100 miles without any problems. It just all of a sudden took a dump. I cant really tell if its a fuel issue or a spark issue.
Is there a way I could check for spark???
Could this be a possible issue inside the carb of the dead cylinder???

Well I figured it out. The carbs were rejetted at some point by a previous owner and the bike was running richer than normal. I recently did a tune up on the bike and put in new OEM spark plugs. The oem plugs were getting fouled. I put the old plugs back in which are a step hotter than oem and the bike ran again.
Im just relieved it wasnt anything major. Thanks for the advice.
