LADIES - Seems like alot of us are "on the hill"

#1 Unread post by rt1maillady »

Interesting to see that many of us new-riders are ...more mature than one might think. It is great to hear the stories of other newbies (and oldies.) I will be taking MSF tomorrow. A little nervous but can't wait. :biker:

you'll do great. Keep us updated and send us pics when you get your bike, unless you have it already.

Thank you for saying we "are on the hill"!! I don't lie about my age, but I will not ever be "over" the hill! Friends have talked about how old we will be and "still" riding. 75?

Me too...on the hill...

2 years ago I had never ridden...2 weeks ago I rode a few thousand miles for my vacation.

I'm already planning next year's road trip.

So for all the naysayers.... :pfft:

ok, so that wasn't very mature, but we gotta be childish sometimes. :)

I passed the MSF..

#9 Unread post by rt1maillady »

I passed the MSF. A great class. Would highly recommend to ALL. As a newbie, it was a great start for me. I have a few friends that were willing to "teach me" but I didn't want to learn bad habits so I opted for the class.
I just missed passing the test the first time and had to go back to retest. Due to weather and scheduling issues, I had to wait two weeks to retest. I just got my license this past weekend.
Now I am working on getting my bike straight. It has a turn signal issue and I found that I need a new fuel petcock. Then I get to deal with MVA. :frusty:

Congrats on completeing MSF. You get on the road in no time, though it seems like f-o-r-e-v-e-r.
