Can't Ride in Winter

I think I'd find some other place to prop up shovels, weed eaters and such if I were you. A tool rack is a lot less expensive than a motorcycle.

You guys are nuts! I have found out anything colder than 40 degrees is wayyyy tooo cold to ride, It doesnt matter what you dress in if ur out riding in less than 40 degrees ur freezing and you won't stay warm

come on Moto---
dont you like the sensation of clintching your teeth together?
losing all feelings in your legs?
having your fingers o cold that it hurts to shift gears or brake?
Not to mentioned how cold your face gets and the interesting thigs that run from your nose as you warm up?

Also, how about dressing up in bulk...makes you feel like that little kid in the movie CHRISTMAS STORY all bundled up in hs snow suit.

Also, if it werent for riding in the winter, i wouldnt know what its like to stall in the middle of rush hour, because i am trying to ride using my thick and bulky snowboarding gloves, that allow 0% feel!

Seriously, yeah, it blows, but in all honesty, i really get amped every morning to ride my MC to the train station so i can be on my way to work. If i didnt ride, i think i'd call in for more sick days.....

suppose to be in the 60s this week in Chicago though.......HEAT WAVE BABY!!!!

I rode to work Friday in 26deg F at 70mph. Wind chill factor is about 2deg I think. The last 10-15 minutes of the ride my fingertips were uncomfortably cold but I LOVE to ride and I'll suffer a little discomfort anytime for a chance to put some wind in my face!

Tuffen up boys, if this old gal can do it..you can!!LOL

Sounds as if you don't know how to properly layer your clothes. I suggest learning and then seeing how cold is too cold.

Granted, I don't get cold easily, but wow... Just the other day I rode to work at 5:30 AM, still pitch black outside, and the entire day, the warmest it got was 35F. I then went on a hour long ride after that, got home, and was fine. Sounds like you need a less expensive tool rack too.

Winter is the best time to ride in Florida! It is the only time I can ride without sweating my "O Ring" off.

Its called a snowmobile.... the reason god invented snow!...errrr, no wait...

the bike gets shedded, and maybe the project bike gets worked on until the snow melts in april/may.
