We all missed the big payoff...

#1 Unread post by CNF2002 »

That's right. We missed it. Jason here is a genius. He paid $500 for a prepaid PS3 system and he's reselling it on ebay for over $4,000!

Now that's capitalism at its finest!

My recommendation for parents who missed the preorder rush? Tell your kid to get on their bike after Christmas and ride around looking for a PS3 box in the trash bins. Then make a new friend.

Stuff like this makes you smack your face and think "duh! Why didnt I think of this?"...like the cheese sandwich that sold for a few thousand dollars.

For kicks I'm going to Walmart Saturday at midnight to see if I can grab a Nintendo Wii.

Somewhere down at the bottom of my soul, there's a tiny little shred still not conquered by cynicism, and that little shred keeps me from accepting $4000 for a $500 object........... or at least feeling good about it......... so far, anyway.

No way! Don't feel bad about it. Its the parents who buy this stuff who have no problem paying top dollar. Its basic supply and demand economics. No ethic violations here.

 These same parents buy their kiddies cars (nice ones!) when they turn 16... etc, etc. It's sad... I know so many of these types that don't know what work and earning and responsibility really is - and the parents now lament "gee, my kid is so lazy/useless/self-centred... & I don't know what to do with him/her".

Exactly. Their bloodline is doomed to be a drain on our economy. Might as well make as much money off their family as possible before we have to spend our taxes to support them on welfare.

lots of folks are camping out in the suburbs of Chicago for the PS3...and folks....its cold out here....i mean so cold that i put my ice cube trays outside to make ice cubes!

On the other hand....hmmm.......maybe i should ride my MC, wear my leathers andlook mean and ask those people to hand over thier money ( be like a bully) since afterall, they have atleast $500 on them- though be it credit on some of them....j/k
Imagin that- people waiting for Ps3 being held up in the middle of the night for thier game money....

I would bet good money that most of those people are putting their games on credit.
