Do not despair... it is by choice! Exploring the Country in depth... hidden roads, cooking on the road (Chef for 40 years / www.personalchefara.com), meeting new friends... hopefully an endless Journey. I don't do well in a house... lived on sailboats for 28 years... this is cool to have Mother Nature as your backyard...

Looks like a great Forum...
Welcome to the TMW forums! Glad you could make it, I hope to enjoy your writings in your blog.
I also have a passion for cooking, although I have no formal training, I decided to do that with automobiles and hopefully later down the line work with motorcycles. And yes, nothing beats having mother nature as your backyard! I hope one day I may do something similar as you do, although I dont think a touring technician has the same charm for other people.
Welcome to the forums Beemerchef. I've heard great things about you on the totalmotorcycle forums. I think it's wonderful to see you in our neck of the internet over here. If you ever get up to Western Canada in your travels, definitely let us know. I'm sure there's more than a few people here that would love to meet you.
Thanks guys... Vancouver has always been my favorite city... if I had to live in a city that is where I would be... sailing... riding... and skiing!
Have you ver been to Toad Rock... Motorcycle Campground... was there a couple years ago... I am sure it has evoluated!
Will stay in touch... be well...

PS: could you tell me how to have a link with a word instead of a URL?
I just cannot figure it out!!!
* Highlight the word...
* then click on URL...
* the copy the URL of the site I want to paste?... and then I loose it...
PS: Welcome to the site, I have to agree with you on the Vancouver area... Lived here all my life and I'm sure I'm one of the few home grown people that still appreciates the beauty of this city's location.

Any words of wisdom regarding Blog/Website will be greatly appreciated even though in good hands right now!
You be well... and again... many Thanks for all your support!
Sounds like a fantastic journey! Someday I will be able to shed the golden handcuffs of my existence and do something like the same. I think my cat and dog would be nervous travel partners, though. Maybe an enclosed sidecar is what I need.
Welcome to the forum. I wish you good fortune in your travels. Be safe.

I'm a new member and just thought I would say hi and wish you all the best on your journey. Cheers, Mark
Welcome!!
Glad to see another rider that takes their companions with them! Our Jack Russell (Nocona) goes every where with us (my husband and I) and has become quite the good will ambassador on our travels.
Be careful out there!
