Every redwall book pre 2004

I'll assume you mean the Mote in God's Eye by Larry Niven with Jerry Pournelle. , the sequel (The Gripping Hand) wasn't as good but still worth a read.roscowgo wrote:Mote in the eye of god

I've got all these currently on the go. Never been good at just doing one thing at a time.
Haruki Murakami: Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World
- [Murakami has got to be the most gobsmackingly amazing writer I've ever read.]
John Pilger: The New Rulers of the World
- [Grim Stuff]
William Buck: Ramayana
- [A very loose retelling of the original - but great writing - I dip into this all the time]
Stephen Mitchell (Trans.): Gilgamesh
- [Snap! Asiantay]
Robert Reed: The Well of Stars
- [good gutsy space opera]
Nick Sanders: Journey Beyond Reason (fastest man around the world)
- [on an R1. Sanders is a complete nutcase and works hard to convince you of that fact]
An Atlas of English Dialects
- [A 'Wow! that's amazing, I would never have imagined that!' kind of book.]
Haruki Murakami: A Wild Sheep Chase
- [Ditto above]
Mikhail Bulgakov: The Master and Margarita
- [fourth time round - I love this book]
Haynes Motorcycle Basics Techbook.
- [What can I say!]

Recently, as in the last 6 months or so:
A Game of Thrones
A Clash of Kings
A Clash of Swords
A Feast for Crows
And when he publishes it, A Dance with Dragons
All by George RR Martin.
Also read Legacies by Margarett Weis and found out I didn't like that story line. I did however like the Darksword Trilogy.
Also read The Magic of Recluse and thought it sucked.

Ah, a fellow Heinlein fan. I'm just finishing Farnum's Freehold myself. The next one up is DaVinci Code, saw the movie and had to read the book. I love Job: A Comedy of Justice, I also enjoy Stranger in a Strange Land. I've been trying to find Citizen of the Galaxy to reread, I haven't read it since 7th grade or so and would love to read it again.

Looks like we've got enough Heinlen nuts here for a new site!!!

I read Stranger in a Strange Land and Farnham's Freehold when I was sixteen and just kept on reading. The last Heinlen I read was about six years ago when I got hold of an old copy of Starship Troopers. Great stuff!
