Spray, soak with WD40 over course of a few days on the final day slip a good fitting socket on - preferably a long one

Tap with hammer a few times. I said Tap not whack, hit or belt. It should help break the tension in the threads, works on all Japanese bikes - not too sure about other nationalities.

Attach rachet and use some elbow grease. Failing that break out the power bar and use more elbow grease.

Make sure the socket is a good fit though.

Maybe, but I've never needed an easy-out. Once the hex and seat break off, unless the threads are boogered, the plug can be twisted out with a finger. If the threads are boogered, the head has to come off.
