I have been in dealerships and overheard their conversations and after a customer leaves they brag to each other how they ripped him off, every motorcycle mechainc has his secret place of his own parts stash, these are either new or good parts that he has charged out but never used on a bike, some say they are "test" parts. These motorcycle dealers are NOT ur friend, they will rip you off any chance they get.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Mr qwerty, yes there are honest and dishonest dealers out there, but over the years bikes have become more popular that newbees are keeping the rip off dealers in business, and these dealers take advantage of these new guys and rip them off any chance they get, one friend just purchaced a new atv from a Yamaha dealer, he wanted a Kodiak 450, he paid full MSRP for a 450 but when he got it home he later found out its a 400 Kodiak instead, on research he found out the 400 Kodiak MSRP is $400 less then the 450 Kodiak! So we he went back to the dealer and the dealer told him he didn't know that the Kodiak came in a 400 and a 450! Can you believe a Yamaha dealer could be that dumb? That was a BS, after fighting and calling names the dealer told him "too bad you bought it" and get off my property or I will call the Police! Is that the way to do business? I see people getting ripped off by many bike dealers so many times and it bothers me!
