Why Hi!

#1 Unread post by PeteSa »

Hello all,

Was massively into motorbikes up until 2 years ago - progressed from a little 125cc scooter, onto a 600cc Honda Hornet and onto my favourite bike a 918cc Honda Fireblade... mmm... lovely...

Unfortunately though I had a whopping bike accident two years ago and have been recovering ever since off two wheels. Found this site though so thought I'd stop and say hi. Have setup a website for other bruised bikers to pop in and chat about stuff here if interested: Big Ole Bike Bash...

Hope to chat soon

Had a look at your site. Brilliant idea!

Hope you are recovering well now.

hmm.. i see you also went from a tiny bike to a fairly big bike.

I have the same problem, I have a 200cc, 12 hp bike and I want to upgrade up to a Suzuki SV 650 soon. ( 1 year or so) But since my bike is SOOOO weak, I think the difference between a sv 650 (60ish hp) and my bike will be so big that it might cause problems. For example, my bike has very little low rev torque.. I can give it full throttle, and the RPM will jump from 2,000 to maybe 5,000 or 6,000 then slowly go to the red zone...

yeah anyways, just wondering about your jump from a 125cc to a 600cc

thanks for the info, but right now I gotta store it. I needs too much positive energy to keep doing my thing, but I'm sure it may come in useful one day.
