Is this leather jacket okay?
Is this leather jacket okay?
I've been eyeing this leather jacket: http://www.leatherup.com/product.asp?pf ... r%2DJacket
I really like the apperance and it does look like a quality jacket.
Any thoughts are welcomed.
Also, if I posted this thread in the wrong forum please move it. Thanks.

From experience, I think that if you're going to wear a jacket it should be armored. Not just padded.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

agreed. You're taking a big leap of faith by ordering any kind of gear online not knowing how it fits you. You should always try before you buy when it comes to helmets, jackets, riding pants, etc. The only thing ive ever ordered online was riding gloves.Sevulturus wrote:I think you're wasting time looking online. Get yourself to a store and try "crumb" on.
If you can afford it I would spend a bit more and get a real quality jacket.
This one comes from Fox Creek Leather. $369. If it does not fit they will send you one that does... no shipping... guaranteed for life!
Very warm, very tough, and pretty cool looking IMHO.
Like all things in life you get what you pay for.

The site's censorbot changes the word c.r.a.p into crap.brentw wrote:By the way, what is "crumb" slang for?
try to write out the word "nrop" backwards.

anyway, +1 on the going to a store and trying on a jacket. You don't know how anything will fit from the internet. But clothing is made for the human shaped body, so i guess it wouldn't hurt to buy it from the internet and still be able to exange it.
