I know there are a few of Hampster Hammonds fans on here from the covereage of his crash last year.
Top Gear came back on our screens last week with a low key entry by Mr Hammond... < smirk >
If you can find it on the Net it is worth watching, especially the footage from the Vampires onboard camera.
Anyways we knew he was going to be alright when MCN ran an article of him on his Fireblade in December. Apparently he is fine apart from not being able to smell/taste celery.
Good to hear he's back. He was always my favorite on the show, followed by Jeremy, even though he has a hatred of bikes, and James is way too conservative to be on the show... lol It sucks, they haven't been showing it over here in the states for a while, you lucky Brits get to watch it though!

Wrider, FYI, James May rides as well. either 599 or 919 IIRC (source: he and hampster become scooter driving drunk picker upers in one episode). And he balances out Clarkson and Hampster well i think. And the brits get the full uncut versions with all the non-US-pc friendly jokes. By that i mean "what if the german company made the cars more german? Would the sat-nav go directly to poland and salute the whole way?" or something along those lines. I forget what episode that was, but i've seen the real and the us version of it. And the US version is watered down and 15-20 minutes shorter than it should be.
My favorite line of Jeremy's is from years and years ago when he was playing with a new Ferrari Spyder "Snaps Knicker elastic at 200 yards"
Thats what we want to know about cars - never mind the 0-60, mpg and anything else like that. We want to know what toys it has on board and what it does to the gussets of the opposite sex!
Even's Jeremy's hatred of Bikes can be forgiven as its just so chariatured.
