I was trying to compare two different 500 cc bikes, when I came across the description for the Vulcan 500E LTD. Located at http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/motorcyc ... lassic.htm which specs the motor as a v-twin.
This is no big deal but I wanted to verifiy if someone familar with that bike could check and with a quick glance, verify if the rest of the specs seem in order.
Thank you for any help or addition sources of information.

The Vulcan 500 has always been a parallel twin. It's a detuned version of the 500cc engine in the Ninja 500. Kawasaki's current specs:

407,211 miles in 30.1 years for 13,528 miles/year average. Started 7/21/84, updated 8/26/14
Straight from the horse's mouth:
"Four stroke, DOHC, eight-valve parallel twin."
