Where can I find my owner's manual?
Where can I find my owner's manual?
So, I got my first bike and the guy says he has to look through his nephew's room to find the owner's manual. I say, "Cool, I can pick it up next weekend."
Now, I have a hankerin' to find one on the web and can't find it anywhere. I know there has to be something online that I can download (preferrably free) and look at.
Thusly, I come to my one-stop answer shop for help....
HELP!!
Thanks,
Dave

hehe actually I have been working on a huge motorcycle owners manual archive and will be putting them in a zip or rar file for download, your about a week early.
Unfotunatly I can't find anything on the 2005 gs500 but I'll keep looking.
I have too much time on my hands for it to be healthy.
hope that guy actually has the manual.

Alternately you could shell out the funds for the workshop manual, which will have all the owners manual info + the extra stuff that you need to know to do a lot of your own maintenance.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I would start at a dealership. They tend to sell that sort of thing, alternately there are tons of websites that'll sell them. Thing to remember is you're looking at about $100... but if you follow the instructions carefully and take your time doing stuff you could save yourself thousands in maintenance costs at the dealership.Jadien wrote:Where could I get one of those?Sev wrote:Alternately you could shell out the funds for the workshop manual, which will have all the owners manual info + the extra stuff that you need to know to do a lot of your own maintenance.
When they're charging $100+ an hour to work on your bike you're looking at $100 to get your oil changed and chain adjusted not counting parts.
