If you're planning to RIDE it, then you'd BETTER make sure you've got a licensed motorcyclist either following you in a car, or better yet, riding your bike to the test. Or, if you really don't want a witness, then trailer it.

In MARYLAND, THE EXAMINER WILL ASK HOW YOU GOT THE BIKE TO THE TESTING STATION! IF YOU RODE IT YOURSELF ON YOUR LEARNERS WITHOUT A 'CHAPERONE' THEN YOUR BIKE WILL BE IMPOUNDED.

no freeways, no passengers, and no riding at night.

That's completely false for MA. In MA, a learners permit means you can ride by yourself with no one else from sunrise to sunset. No passengers and no after dark are the only restrictions. So yes, you would ride your bike on your own to the DMV.

yea this is simply not true in most states. you can ride by yourself with a learners permit, as long as you have no pillion and you dont ride at night. That's how it is in PA, and every state i'm aware of.
no one is going to impound your bike for riding on a learners permit. I think Lionlady might have been hitting the moonshine a bit too hard

In Ohio the learners permit allows you to ride alone. No passengers, no major highways, not after dark. You must wear a helmet.

You do not need someone to ride your bike to take the test. It is a parking lot test.

yea if it is not easy and they can find a way to get money out of you from a ticket or taxes we have it in NY
