I'm thinking ahead to wonder how you fill up your bike at the gas station. So i got a few questions:

1- Does the pump stop automatically when the tank is full like it does on a car?

2- Are there any fire issues I need to think of like having to touch a car to release any static electricity?

3- Any other tips/tricks to know about?

You cant fill your bike like you fill your car. You have to pull back the big black pump thingy that covers the nozzle, then you have to put the nozzle right by the entrance of your gas tank. Just pull the trigger very lightly so the gas comes slow. You will be able to see the gas slowly and slowly rise and when its near the top stop.

also, I guess you can ground your self if you want. To ground yourself just grab anything metal that goes into the ground and you'll be good.

No... if you have it in all the way, it will only fill up half tank (or less). There is also the chance that it won't stop at all, and it will overflow all over your bike. Like Dohun said, hold the nozzle towards the rim of the tank, fill up where you can see the gas fill to the bottom of the opening (not to the upper lip! There is normally a lower lip area).

2- Are there any fire issues I need to think of like having to touch a car to release any static electricity?

I always take my gloves off and touch metal to be safe. Definitely don't smoke! heh

3- Any other tips/tricks to know about?

Only pull the gas level partially so it comes out slow, like Dohun said. Otherwise, it fills up quick, sprays gas on your tank, and is easy to overflow.

I always fill mine while im sitting on it, thus to make sure the bike is level so I get as much juice in the tank as possible, other wise, i have found alot of servo driveways are uneven and ya end up only putting in 90% of what is possible.

I do the same, seems like I can see down into the tank better that way. Don't know about "legal", but then, filling the bike yourself in Jersey isn't legal..... we all do it anyway.
