Longview - Green Day

Sit around and watch the tube but, nothing's on
Change the channels for an hour or two
Widdle my thumbs just for a bit
I'm sick of all the same old "poo poo"
In a house with unlocked doors
And I'm f'ing lazy

Bite my lip and close my eyes
Take me away to paradise
I'm so damn bored I'm going blind!!!
And I smell like sh*t

Peel me off this velcro seat and get me moving
I sure as hell can't do it by myself
I'm feeling like a dong in heat
Barred indoors from the summer street
I locked the door to my own cell
And I lost the key...

Oh look... the sun's up....

Too bad I don't even know my ancesteric? language. I'm taking it in college, but I'm surprisingly bad at it. I think I need a personal teacher, Probably when I move to Utah though. And I've never even been to Nihon before  . Hate my life,, just kidding.

Don't worry about it. Just takes a little using it and kinda quizing yourself to get it to stick.

They way I learn best is like when I was in middle school and we did our spelling/vocabulary lessons. You write the new word, write the definition, then write a sentence using the word. That's how I still learn my vocabulary and phrases in Japanese too. Then repetition. Don't worry, though, just takes a little time.

I get rusty if I don't speak any, so, at random throughout the day I say phrases to the dog lol

lol He wags his tail and humors me.

We've been here just over a year. It took us a while to get where we ae. And only have we been studying hard the past 3-4mths. I think it realy helps that we're saturated with the language 85% of our time, so that keeps it fresh. When we went to the states, we were itching to speak and hear Japanese, but of course, in the US, no one does. If you go to a real japanese owned restaurant, you may speak to the mom and pop owners. But, it's hard to stay involved when no one around you speaks.

Keep studying it.. If you can, find an actual Japanese person to tutor.
