New from NoVA

#1 Unread post by PatArmyRet »

Hi,

Was looking for a beginner bike on Craig's List and someone was kind enough to point me in the direction of this forum. Now that the kids are grown and gone, I finally have the $$ to pursue something that I've wanted to do for a long time. I've signed up for the MSF class in a couple of weeks and I am gathering information on a bike purchase.

The person on CL gave me the beginner links/threads on what bikes would be appropriate, and helmet sizing. I am considering a used cruiser style in the 500-650 size range...have plenty of time to gather information and make the right decision.

 :hithere: I grew up in NoVa and moved to NC a long time ago. Welcome from Pilot Mountain, NC. If Moto150 replies to a post from you, please....IGNORE it, IMHO.

pat-

I'm assuming this is pat of the sun devil 01 variety. Glad you found the site. Enjoy your course at Mason, this is apex's first time at that location and all the bikes are brand spanking new!

When you finish the class, if you need any help checking some bikes out or want someone to ride with let me know.

Hey Pat!

Welcome to the site and riding! When you're ready to go ride, hit me up. I'm in Woodbridge myself.
