Did you think about maybe getting a trike? I rode on one when I was a kid, it was a converted Harley with a VW rear end (very nice custom job) It was great fun to be a passenger on.

I have ridden a Dnepr as well back in the mid 80's and your right it handled pretty good. This Goldwing I rode however was bad, although it looked quite cool..colour matched and all.

Sidecars are not for me, I would miss hanging off my bike on sweeping turns.

I hear ya on that one. That's why I bought the Dnepr rig, it's my beer store runner/grocery getter/dog limo; all the things I can't do on a solo bike. That way I can use the Harley for my normal riding and commuting... although I haven't tried hanging off it in the corners yet. :D
